ALMOHAD DYNASTY HERITAGETinmel Mosque is located deep in the High Atlas Mountains. It was built in 1156 by the founder of the Almohad dynasty, to honor the spiritual leader Ibn Tumart. It is one of only two mosques in Morocco open to non-Muslims, making it a unique cultural and historical pilgrimage.
