Detailed Itinerary
5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTSDAY 1: MARRAKECH - TELOUET KASBAH - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE
Begin your adventure by crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. We diverge from the main road to visit the beautiful Kasbah of Telouet. We then journey down the Ounila Valley to reach the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou for exploration and lunch. In the afternoon, we take a short drive to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa, where we spend the first night.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE - SKOURA - VALLEY OF ROSES - DADES VALLEY
After breakfast, depart Ouarzazate and visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios. We continue to Skoura, an extensive oasis known for its numerous kasbahs nestled amongst palm trees. Travel through the fragrant Valley of Roses before arriving at our hotel in the Dades Valley, where the stunning geological formations known as 'monkey fingers' can be seen.
DAY 3: DADES VALLEY - TODRA GORGES - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA CAMEL TREK & CAMP
Today we travel to the impressive Todra Gorges, taking a walk through its magnificent canyons. We then head towards the Sahara desert, passing through Erfoud and Rissani. Upon reaching Merzouga, you will embark on a sunset camel trek across the rolling dunes of Erg Chebbi to your remote desert camp. Enjoy dinner, campfire music, and a night beneath a blanket of stars.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT - RISSANI - DRAA VALLEY - AGDEZ
Rise early to watch the sunrise paint the dunes with vibrant colors. After breakfast and a refreshing shower at the camp, ride your camel back to meet your driver. We will visit the traditional market of Rissani before heading west through arid desert landscapes towards Alnif and N'kob. We will reach the lush Draa Valley, home to millions of date palms, before arriving in Agdez for the night.
DAY 5: AGDEZ - ANTI ATLAS - HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - MARRAKECH
On our final day, we leave Agdez and cross the rugged Anti Atlas mountains. We will descend towards Ouarzazate and once again navigate the sweeping curves of the High Atlas Mountains. We will drop you off at your hotel or riad in Marrakech in the afternoon, concluding a magnificent 5-day adventure.
